Welcome to Stewardship
Stewardship is the sharing of time, talent and treasure of the parishioners. The parable of
the talents instructs us that we are each accountable for how we use our talents. A central
charge of the Stewardship Commission is to prepare an annual budget, review the Parish Profit & Loss Reports and communicate financial information to our parishioners on a quarterly basis.
In addition, stewardship is responsible for reviewing and evaluating both the short and long-term goals and improvements required for our physical structures, in order to effectively manage the objectives of our parish.
The St. Joseph Parish Profit & Loss Report for Fiscal Year Ending 2006-2007 was published in a recent copy of The Guardian. Shown below are bar charts detailing income and expense by % of totals, and a trend of cash balances over the past few years.
